OUR FARM PARTNERS

We were born in the Hudson Valley, and take pride in our deep roots in this agricultural community. Home to some of the most wonderful farmers and chefs in the country, we couldn’t imagine a better home for our business.

Hawthorne Valley Farm

Where it all began! Hawthorne Valley Farm is where we first started the journey into wild-fermentation and we are so grateful they continue to be a strong farmer partner to this day. Hawthorne Valley Farm sits on 900 acres of certified organic land and is New York’s oldest biodynamic farm. The practice of biodynamics views the farm as a holistic, interconnected organism while trying to take as little input from outside the farm as possible. Their mission is to renew soil, society, and self by integrating agriculture, education, and art. Learn more here.
